As a child of a Catholic family, she was brought up in Manhattan's Upper East Side. The parents of her were enrolled in the Convent of the Sacred Heart, a religious elitist institution. When she was little she's been an avid music fan. She was able to play the piano in the very beginning and composed her first song of original composition when she was thirteen. Open mic nights were her most favorite. Her favorite singers included Queen Michael Jackson Madonna, David Bowie. Upon completing high-school, she enrolled in the Tisch School of Art of New York University where she was a music student. However, after finishing high school she enrolled in The Tisch School of Arts at the New York University to learn about music.
