Donald Joseph Qualls, better called DJ Qualls is an American actor producer and fashion model. The actor gained fame following his appearance as a character in Road Trip. Since then DJ Qualls has starred in more than 20 films, such as The New Guy Hustle & Flow or The Core. Apart from his appearances as a character in the film, he's played in 22 different TV shows like Breaking Bad Supernatural Srubs Lost Law & Order and many more. Qualls has fought Hodgkin's lymphoma since he was 14 years old. His cancer was in remission after 2 years. However, the treatment at such an early age left severe impact on his body and thwarted his development. At the time he started to act, financial stability was the ultimate ambition. The man had experienced hardship in his early years. In an interview, he said that if I don't have the financial security or find myself feeling out of control in the world, I'll feel miserable. The man also recalls his youth to inspire him. The fact that cruel acts break his heart. DJ's ideal job is be a father in reel, as well as in reality. DJ admits that directors don't want to cast DJ in such role. He would like to have a child of his own when he would have the ability to dedicate more time to his work and more time to his son.
