Mena Alexandra Suvari (born February 13 1979) is a famous American actress fashion designer and model. In 1990, shortly following her debut as a model, Suvari started acting in TV shows such as Boy Meets World. Her first film appearance was on 1997's drama Nowhere. She made the transition to major roles with her performances as a character in American Beauty for which she was nominated for the BAFTA Award and American Pie and American Pie, both of which gained the attention of the world. Since then she appeared as a co-star in Loser (2000) with the American Pie co-star Jason Biggs and later played the main character in the comedy Sugar & Spice (2001). Spun as well as Trauma a thriller movie from 2004 were two of her appearances. The other films she appeared in include HBO's drama Six Feet Under. The filmography she starred in was Day of the Dead The Mysteries of Pittsburgh as well as the adaptation of The Garden of Eden and several other movies.
